The Lindsay Family Home Page

Although this is called The Lindsay Family Home Page it contains information on all of my direct and indirect lines. The family names included are: Bachiller,Bangs, Brewster, Carter, Clark, Dillingham, Donahue, Ferrier, Foster, Freeman, Gage, Hinckley, Hobart, Hodsoll, Jacobs, Lindsay (of course), Lumpkin, Newell, Nesbitt, McNamara, Perry (two lines), Prence, Ring, Scotto, Smith (the ever popular), Sparrow, Strong, Treadwell and Wing. I consider this a "work in progress" and welcome any and all additions, correctionsor comments.The locations for the families older families are of course MA. The Lindsay, Newell, Nesbitt lines are from Cootehill County Cavan Ireland into Elgin County Ontario Canada (1840-1880). The Foster line links up in Canada as does the Treadwell and Strong.The McNamara and Donahue lines are from Birr, County Offaly and the CountyKerry region of Ireland. Both families left Ireland in 1848. All ended upin Illinois (Ottawa area).In the near future (as soon as I can figure out how) I will upload a fullreport of the above lines.
