The Smith-O'Hara Family

I am trying to find the ancestors of my grandfather, Edward Fiske O'HARA. He was born in Hanson County, South Dakota in 1890. He was married at least once before my grandmother and had at least one child, Laura. He married my grandmother, Thecla Riedel, around 1924, and had one son, Edward Fiske O'Hara.
Any information would be greatly appreciated and I would be glad to share the information I have on other surnames.

May 30, 1999 UPDATE: I have found out that my great-grandmother was Anna Elizabeth POOLEY, born in Philadelphia, PA. My great-grandfather, John Fiske O'HARA was probably born in PA, possibly the Johnstown area.

2005 update: My grandfather's real name was Edward Thomas Smith. His parents were John Smith and Anna Pooley. John Smith was born on the island of Antigua in 1847. His father was an overseer for the English government. John's parents died in an epidemic and John was returned to England. He also had a sister. ANY information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.
