My primary research focuses on the Ohliger family of Rehweiler, a village situated in an area of German state Rheinland-Pfalz which once belonged to the Kingdom of Bavaria. I have compiled a family tree of hundreds of Ohligers in both Germany and the United States from 1682 to the present day, and always look forward to sharing information with interested parties.

I have also done extensive research on other families from which I descend. Some of the surnames include Mehaffey, Biggerstaff, Scheidemantel, Neumaier/Neumeyer/Newmeyer, Ochsenreither/Oxenreiter and Willett.

I have also done some work on the family of my wife, whose families include the names Steedle, Forsythe, Beynon, McGervey, Rent/Rind, Stephan, Gervin and Creedon.

NOTE: As of September 12, 2004, I am having difficulty opening my database in Family Tree Maker. The file is supposedly damaged and may be unrecoverable. (I have been using version 7 for about the last three and one-half years.) Do not hesitate to contact me if you would like, but please be aware that I may take some time in answering queries due to the situation with my data.
