Searching for all Ohlstein's and all Breslauer's from Russia/Poland and their subsequent families. My grandfathers and grandmothers were Abraham & Marsha Ohlstein and Binyamin (Benjamin) & Frieda Gelbert Breslauer, all buried in Washington Cemetary, Brooklyn, New York. They all came to the United States,I believe, beginning in the late 1880s. Abraham's parents were Tuvyah Goodkiend (Grt Kind)and Esther Romberg Ohlstein. His parents were Tobias (Klunitum) and Sarah Cohen Ohlstein. My father was Bernard Jacob Ohlstein aka Barney Ohlstein. His brothers and sisters were: Arthur Michael Ohlstein, Esther Jacobson, Sarah (Levine, Hyman) Pomerantz, Isidore Ohlstein, Beatrice Weissman, Clara Goldstein, Louis Ohlstein and Harry Ohlstein. Tuvya second wife was Sura Zychlinska and they had 4 children: Icak Ohlstein, Ele Mendel (Max) Ohlstein, Frieda Ohlstein and Philip Ohlstein)).

My mother was Rose Breslauer Ohlstein. Her brothers were: Bernhard Breslauer, Morris Breslauer and Frank Breslauer. Benjamin's father was Simcha Bunim Breslauer. Frieda's father was Yisrael (Israel) Mosha (Moses) Gelbert.

My wife's family are named Jaffee and Hirsch. My wife, Barbara Jaffee Ohlstein is the daughter of William Aaron Jaffee and Lillian Belle Hirsch.

Any information supplied would be appreciated in updating the family tree. I would be glad to share the information I now possess.
