| So far all of our research has been the lazy kind: internet searches and conversations with our families. As we find more dead-ends, we'll undoubtedly have to get off our kiesters and hit the court-houses of AR, MO, TN, MS, NC, etc. I get tired just thinking about it. Now a confession: most of the notes on this page are blatantly plagerized and many of the facts haven't been verified. Still, this data is correct to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for your forebearance. Our purpose is to provide as detailed an account of their family history as possible for our children, Nathaniel and Emma, on the off-chance that they might someday want to know.
