| I researching the the family of James Smith (1825-1911). His wife Hannah Maria (1832 -1900, his son James laborn Smith (1857-1920), and his daugther-in-law Sarah Jane Chatam (1865-1905)are buried in Porter Cemetery in Pearl River, LA. I know very little about the elder Smith. From the 1900 census records I learned he was born in Mississippi, his wife was also born in MS, son James Laborn was born in TX, and daugther-in-law Sarah Jane was born in Al. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
