The Okun Family and Samson Family trees are being updated for another (contemplated) Family Reunion. These are descendants of Jewish immigrants from Shidrin, Belarus, Russia. We are searching for the descendants of the lost branch of the Okun family, whose patriarch was a twin male, who may have settled on the East Coast of the United States. Any relatives from marriages or births to these ancestors are welcome to contact me through this site. As the eldest are passing away we desire that the cousins know more about their heritage, and to share stories of their own lives. Photographs, stories and immigration information can fulfill these requests. Our last Okun-Samson Family Reunion was in August of 1998 in Illinois. |
