My mother, Cecilia Garcia was also born in Albuquerque.Decendants have been found in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Edgewood, NM.Her grandfather, John Riker Humphrey, came to New Mexico shortly after the Civil War.It is said that he and five other Irish men rode in together and married into Mexican families. Trying to link back to his estranged family in Pennsylvania.
