I am following two one-name studies for the Olivey and Tizzard families.
The Olivey family has its earliest origins in the west of Cornwall in the middle of the 16th century. Even earlier there may be origins in France but as yet no link has been proven. Presnt day members of this family can be found in USA and Australia as well as England.

For the Tizzard family there are family groups in Sussex, Devon and Dorset in the 16th century but no common link as yet. Again the family probably has French connections. Present day family groups are found in Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand as well as England.
