The Descendants of Thomas Olney of Providence, Rhode Island

This is a project to which many have contributed. I have culled Olney information from a myriad of sources. Some is well-documented, some is not. My goal is to fully source all of the material in the database; any corrections, additions, documentation, sources, will be eagerly accepted. I do have difficulty getting out to libraries and do most of my work at home. If you can send me data I will be adding it in on a regular basis.
I hope that putting this information on the internet will help me find the elusive parents of my Washington Olney who was born in 1804 "in Ohio" and married Mary Rhoda Hooker in Morgan County, Illinois. I have a great deal of information on him and his descendants but can't connect him to the rest of the family.

NOTE: It has come to my attention (information from others and my own experience) that a search will sometimes give the message, "Page has been moved or deleted", IN ERROR. I hope to have time later in the summer to contact Family Tree Maker regarding this problem. In the meantime, the name you are searching for can be found by paging forward to the proper location, an admittedly time-consuming process. We hope this problem can be resolved soon.
