I am researching the CUSHING family from Pembroke, Washington County, Maine. William was born in 1835. He moved to and was married in DeSoto, WI. His wife's name was Julia A. WAREHAM. William and Julia had three children. One son, Cassius I. and two daughters, Mary E. and Luella G. William is my 2nd great-grandfather on my Mother's Dad's side. I am also researching the Robert MELLEM family name. He was born June 28, 1868 and was married to Sophia Gjertina HILLBO on March 25, 1896. They had nine children. One son, Arthur Carl and eight daughters, Gertrude Clara, Mabel, Minnie, Rhoda, Agnes Jeannette, Leone, Edythe Lorraine and Naomi.
