My father John Joseph, was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA, on February 8, 1902. His father Martin was born in Mayo,Ireland, in 1870. His wife, Anna, maiden name was O'Malley, was born in Calla, County Galway,Ireland,in 1875. She had a sister Hanna, and brothers John (Jack) Michael & Patrick all of whom moved to Bay Ridge, Sunset Park area of Brooklyn New York. Martin died in 1906 Anna died in 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. Anna's father was called "sailor mailla" & he is buried in the Dolan cemetery just south of Ballaconeeley,County Galway Ireland.
