| Reference my research on the Ondracek and Kriz ancestors and descendants of STEPAN ONDRACEK AND MARIE KRIZ. I have just returned (October 22, 2003) from a 32 day trip, 29 days in the Czech Republic, mostly in Moravia, and then more specifically in Brno, Miroslav, Polom and Rozsochy and surrounding villages. An experience of a lifetime. I have prepared notes on my 32 day trip and will make it available upon request. --------------------------------------------------------------- I am continuing my reseach of the ANDREW MCGRAW family of St.Andrews, NB and Calais, Maine. Andrew came to St. Andrews from Ballee, County Down, Ireland with his bride Annie Smith in 1831. They had nine children, six daughters, Catherine, Jane, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Isabella, Susan; three sons, Barnard, Andrew Jr. and Thomas Henry. Andrew, Barnard, Andrew Jr., and Thomas all enlisted in the 9th Inf. Reg. Maine September 1861. Andrew died at Morris Island, SC September 1863. Barnard was taken prisoner at Salisbury NC November 1861. Andrew Jr. was wounded at the Battle of Fort Wagner July 1863. Thomas was wounded at Petersburgh July 1864. New information appreciated. Willing to share information that I have. |
