* The O'Neills of "Carnahalla" Cappawhite, Tipperary*

My grandfather, John O'Neill, Parents John and Hannorah (Lahey), left Ireland to settle in southeast Queensland, Australia in the 1860's. He came from a townland "Carnahalla" Toem near Cappawhite, Tipperary. He married Margaret McCarthy in 1871 Ipwich QLD and settled at MT Walker, Rosewood. QLD
Margaret McCarthy's parents, Edward and Honorah (Ryan) came from Cappamore and settled in Rosewood QLD Australia when she was 12 years old also in the 1860's.

John born 10 Dec 1878 married Hannah Rosenthal on 26 July 1933. Hannah was the daughter of Patrick and Ellen Barry of Southbrook Via Toowoomba QLD.
