The O'Neals of NC,SC, and Ga.

I am researching the family's of a John O'Neal and of a "cranky" John O'Neal. I have found records in the following counties, old Albemarle County North Carolina(1681-1706),Edgecombe County,North Carolina(1775-1785), and Johnston County North Carolina. I later followed John into Wilkes Co., and other Counties in Georgia. I need info on both Johns because my mother is a desendent of "cranky"John and father is a desendent of the other John.
