Trying to create a Family Tree for My Father's (O'Neal-Keith) and my Mother's(Firth-Young) families. So far I have the O'Neals and Keiths in Ripley,Illinos at the turn of the century(1900) The O'Neals reportedly immigrated from Ireland to Kentucky where they supposedly had a plantation. The Keiths were a prominent family in Illinos and the South. I would like to trace these families back to their European origins and then their migration path to Illinois!! Joe Firth and Christina Young were married in Scranton, Kansas in the late 1800's. Joe Firth was born in Leeds, England and Christina Firth in Glascow, Scotland. I would like to find out where and when they immigrated to the US and when and where they were Naturalized? Additionally I would like to trace there movements prior to Kansas and thence to Benld, Illinois where they settled. Joe Firth was a Coal Miner. Joe and Christina had had eleven children. |
