The Anderson family originated in North Carolina, then their families moved to Tennesse and then on to Arkansas. My grandfather was Paul R Anderson son of Hugh & Lavica Anderson. Hugh was the son of Thomas & Claudia Hammons Anderson. My search started with my immediate family. Then back in 2005 I went to the yearly Anderson family reunion which was held at Mena, AR. where "Aunt Sister" Floy Mae lives. It was wonderful seeing everyone and gathering info. One of the cousins had a scroll paper that they gave me where one of my Great Aunts had started writing out the family,and so I took this info and built on it. Now I have gained over 2000 related Anderson family members. I look forward to updating this and sharing with my exteded family.
