I am researching the ancestors and descendants of Benjamin Franklin O'Neal who was born on January 2, 1838 in Muskogee County, Georgia. Benjamin married Cordelia Elizabeth Frizzell on March 9, 1864 in Bullock County, Alabama. They had seven children: Robert Edman 1866, Joseph Ephraim 1867, Thomas Jackson 1872, Mary Virginia 1873, Harriet Victoria 1874, Albert Jefferson 1879 and Franklin Pierce 1881. Benjamin died on October 3, 1911 in Hunt County, Texas near S. Sulphur. Benjamin's parents were Edmund O'Neal (born 1814, maried March 5, 1837 and died October 6, 1879 in Chattahoochee County, Georgia) and Harriet S. Riley ( born October 23, 1816 in Bibb County, Georgia and died November 16, 1900 in Commerce, Texas). Cordelia's parents were Ephraim Frizzell (circa 1815 in Georgia) and Mary ? (circa 1821 in South Carolina). Benjamin served in the Civil War with Company K, 12th Alabama Volunteer Infantry under Stonewall Jackson.
