The Crowells sailed from Ireland in the early 1700s and settled along the Hudson River. In Wallkill or Newburgh, they had a large farm on King's Hill. This info comes from old family writings; remembered and then written down many years ago. There seems to be no connection to the Crowells in Mass. or Conn. If I ever have the money to spend, I will research my family at its source in Ulster Co., NY, or at least send off for the information I need. |
