My paternal ancesters originate in Bolton, Lancashire, England. I have so far managed to trace my family back to 1801, with JAMES WALMSLEY who was my great, great grandfather. He was a watch repairer who lived with his family in Bolton, England in the early 1800's. It appears from my research so far, that he died within days of the death of his son, my great grandfather, who was also named James. I am currently trying to find information on James the elder, and on his parents, currently unknown.
