The Suzanna Rose Orahood Home Page

I am looking for the origins and ancetral home of the Orahood surname. My great-grandfater lived somewhere in Ohio (York?). My great-grandfater was Eli Orahood(b.5-2-1838,d.9-23-1892)and was married to Sarah J. Wingfield(b.8-22-42,d.5-3-1902). My grandfather's name was Charles Asa Orahood(b.9-25-1888). He had several brothers and sisters including, Libby, Lenna, Addie, Frank W., George W. and Alexander Hyatt Orahood. Any information concerning existing or past family would be greatly appreciated.
I am also looking for my grandmother's family history and origins. Her grandfather was Patrick Charles Carroll (b.1834) and married to Rose Malone (b.1839). I believe they were born somewhere in Ireland and came to the United States during the Irish Potatoe Famine. They were probably married in the United States. The lived around the Finger Lakes in upstate New York and Patrick is said to have been buried in Ovid. Any information concerning existing family or Irish origins would be helpful. Thank you.
