I am researching the ORBIN Family that has its origins with Philip ORBIN in Fayette County, Pennsylvania in the late 1700's. One source believes that Philip married Ellen SHERRICK. While another Source suggests a Frannie Miller. I have no record of Philip's death or where he was interred. Philip had a son John Philip ORBIN born in 1795, and three daughters. I am interested in tracing the European origins of the Orbin Family. I am also looking into the Leonard YOUGER, Emmanuel MORRIS, and Abraham LAPE families also of Fayette County. Other surnames I am investigating include BAIRD, BITTNER, CARNER, DOMER, EVERETT, RIST, STRAYER, THRASHER.
I would appreciate any information on these families and would be pleased to share information that I have collected.
