I'm on a long Journey to complete the "Orcutt" Family Tree and History of the Orcutt Family, which I have traced back to 1662 (William Orcutt Sr.)in East Bridgewater, Mass. If you have information that has been verified by State Vital records, birth certificates, Marriage certificates, Death Certificates, e-mail this web site. I have been able to trace the Family Tree back through blood lines of several families to the Mayflower. Our connection is through James Chilton, a passager on the Mayflower. Early settlers lived in East Bridgewater, Hingham, and Scituate Mass. Then they moved to Stafford Spring, Conn. in 1721. One of the 7 founding settlers in Stafford was Joseph Orcutt. A small town was created North of Stafford Springs called "Orcuttville". Hope to hear from you. |
