| I am looking for information about David Troup who was born in 1819 in Maryland. I believe that his parents names were David Troup and Catherine Weaver, but I have yet to confirm this. He had settled in Hancock Co., WV where he married his first two wives. His first wife's name was Susan Prosser and they had four children - John A. b. abt 1848, Eliza J. b. abt 1850, George A. b. abt 1855, and James F. b. abt 1858. He then married Mary E. Chapman (madien name unknown) and had two more children - David E. b. abt 1863, and Thomas b. abt 1869. In 1885 David moved to Glasgow, PA (Beaver County). He married Elizabeth White (madien name unknown)in 1886. David died in July of 1905 and is buried in New Cumberland Cemetery, Hancock Co., West Virginia. Any information about this family or possible relations, would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share whatever information I have gathered. Thank you - Bridget Ordich |
