The Haydn/Bosson family

Updated April 1, 2007

I began my family history researching my father's family, the Haydns. Such an illustrious name would be quite easy or so I thought. The first surprise was that far from coming to England from Austria my family came from Ireland. Well you all will know how hard it is coping with the Irish. Whilst the rest of the world was trying to blow up each other the Irish were busy blowing up my ancestors records. So I'm stuck, my gr. gr. grandparents, Bernard and Elizabeth had a child Peter in Manchester, England in 1833 and this is the earliest proven knowledge I have. A member of my family does remember her father talking about an ancestor working as a foreign corespondent for the Dublin Times.

I am now researching mother's family but how can I think about pork butchers when there might be a leprechaun in the family.
