| Our families all came to Cass Co.,Texas, in the mid-1800's. The family of James Walter Ball came from Georgia in 1870, after his father was killed in the Civil War. James W. Ball was born in 1860 in Clayton Co., Georgia. We are still searching for his father's name. This is but one of the many pioneer families to whom we are related.
