John Oren Family Genealogy Home Page

I am researching the Oren family who has been in America since the early 1700's. Joseph (or Jesse) Oren, the earliest Oren I have found in my linage, was baptized in the St. James Church in New Castle Delaware in 1730. I don't know Joseph Oren's ancestry before 1730 and finding it is a high priority for me. Joseph Oren married Abigail Kirk on 11 December 1754 at the Old Swedes Church in Wilmington, Delaware, and they had four known sons: Thomas, Joseph, Jesse and John (my ancestor). I have lots of ancestral information for the Kirks and the descendent information for the Oren and Kirks.

In addition, I'm searching for the ancestry of Sarah Threlkeld (b. 1818 Kentucky) and Frank Stone (b. about 1850 in Missouri).

Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have.
