Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by and visiting my home page. I just started this home page so it will be under construction for sometime getting all the data and family reports put in here. So please stop back offten to check the progress and look for new names. I am researching my ORNER lines, while most of them started in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Vallentine Orner came to Chester Co, with his father Conrad ORNER and his mother, Catherine Smith, I have just learned of his parents names, so this generation is new to me. What I do know is that Catherine was born abt.1725 and died Aug. 4,1781, she was married two other times after Conrad's death. First to an Unknown STEIN and had five children, then to Peter HARTMAN (1740-1810) and they had one son, George H. HARTMAN (1765-1834). Vallentine(1742 -1818) married Elizabeth LUDWIG (1748-1808) they had nine know children, Elizabeth,Conrad,Catherine,Susan,Vallentine, Rebecca, Lewis, Mary and George. I now have ten generations of this line. Some of the other surnames that I am researching from Vallentine's descendants are ARMS, HARTMAN, HUNTER, KIEMS, KING, LINDERMAN, LONGACRE,MOSES, ORNER, READMAN, RETTEW, SMITH/SCHMIDT, WELLS, and WILLIAMS. They mostly stayed in the Chester County area until the early 1900'swhen somes of then moved into Delaware County, Pennsylvania and other areas of Pennsylvania. I have a large database on this branch of the ORNER'S. Also have another datbase of ANER/ARNER/ORNER'S from PA with 2,500 names in it. That I hope to one day connect with my line of ORNER'S. All my data is in Family Tree Maker, version 5.0 Any information would be greatly appreciated no matter how large or small it may be. I am willing to share/exchange data with any of my lines. Thanking all in advance for your help.
Today, April 16, 2000 I would like to upgrade my information and add the file to this page. I have now upgraded to Familytree Maker version 7.5 I still have yet to go back one more generation to Conrad's parents, or have I yet found the ship or dates that they came to America. I also want to thank all who have sent me their branches of this family.

GEDCOM Trees (viewing trees requires 4.0 or later)

I have been researching the ORNER name for 10 years. This file has only my direct branch, I have three other files with all other ORNER'S/AUNER'S/ANER'S/ARNER'S/URNER'S in it. Hopefully one day I will be able to connect my ORNER'S with the other ORNER files that I have.
