I am researching my Irish, English, and Moravian roots. The pathways back to Ireland include the family surnames of O'Rourke, Byrne, MacNamara, McKnight, Doyle, Curran and Gregory. These different family groups came to America over a time period spanning from 1810 to 1860. These were not sedentary people but adventures who traveled across the landscape of the United States and left their marks. The English root traces back to the Little family who resided in Cumberland County, England before heading for the great expanse of Texas.

My Moravian roots stem from the surnames of Kubin, Polasek, Mares, Bobal, and Krajca. The immigration for these family groups began in 1892 and lasted until 1907. Each family headed to Texas and here they have remained until this day.

If you share a common interest in these surnames or with my family tree, please feel free to email me. I would love to hear from you and to trade information and share stories of some great people.

O'Rourkes, Byrnes, Littles, Salmons, Kubins, Polaseks
