The Gerald G. Orpe Family of Calgary, Alberta, Canada

We are just beginning to research our family tree. It goes back to George Harry Orpe. He was born in 1875 in Hereford, England. He married Mattie Alberta Davison who was born in White Rock, Michigan in 1878. They had eight children. Hazen, Clayton, Gertrude, Lawrence, Lorraine, Donna, Isabelle and Alice. I am the son of Hazen George Orpe who was born June 30, 1902 in Soper Cavalier Co., North Dakata and died March 15, 1975 in Calgary, AB. He married Ethel Annie Townend, daughter of Joseph Townend and Lillian Armstrong. I, Gerald George Orpe was born March 20, 1937 in Calgary, Alberta. I married Donna Clark July 1, l961. We have three children. Nancy Ann (married to Clifford Vornbrock),they have no children, Jill Augusta (married to Brett Rowland - they have two girls, Jessica and Nicole and our son John David George married to Allison Canniff - they have twin sons Harrison and Mitchell.
