Letter from Kathleen Weston dated Oct. 15, 1981
"Grandmother Harrison was a Baptist and there was a story mother (Eva Weston (Harrison)) used to tell of Grandmother, as a little girl, being taken to Rotherham Baptist Chapel by her parents because they were busy there preparing for the great occasion of its dedication. When she became tired she was put to sleep in the baptistry. Something of this might be verified, if, in deed the church was built in the early 1850's.
Also in this letter Kathleen explains how Eva's name was picked (see Eva's notes for details) She then goes on to say "Grandmother was on an English History kick when Egbert and Ethelbert were named - these of course were the name of early Saxon Kings of England. Edwy .....also got an early Saxon name.
