From a letter from Kathleen Weston dated Oct. 15, 1981
"I remember my moth speaking of "me Uncle Thomas" (she had little of the Yorkshire accent but would occaisnally lapse into the idiom) I think - but I may be wrong- it was this Uncle Tomas who once came to visit when she was a young girls. Apparently he was by way of being something of a lay precher and regaled the family with an account of how he had preached for an hour on "A glimpse of Heaven" He (mu mother) got herself into trouble by aaking him when he had ever had a glimpse of Heaven
