Updated September 6, 2000As passed down to me the name Orr was created from the name McGreggor (Gregg Orr) in 1408. John and Rachel Orr traveled from Scottland to America in 1749. On the trip over they had a son born on the ship, they named him Robert. Robert's son was John then George then Joeseph then Claud then Claude then me Lonnie and my sons are Bobby and Shawn .Robert, we believe, settled in a place that is now known as Brevard NC.Can you help me add to my Familt Tree?
