Anthony S. Zalatoris DAVIS - Anthony Stanley Zalatoris, 57, of here, died suddenly Monday in Gary, Ind., where he was employed. Born at Thomas, he was a son of the late Anton and Pauline (Glebauskas) Zalatoris. Mr. Zalatoris had been employed as a coal miner for 26 years and had been captain of the West Virginia state miner rescue team for 15 years. He was a member of St. Veronica Catholic Church, Local 4240, United Mine Workers, District 16; Mine Workers and the FO Eagles of Davis. He is survived by his widow, Stella (Pachosa) Zalatoris; three sons, First Lt. Albert E. Zalatoris, Fort Sill, Okla.; Joseph Zalatoris, Morgantown, and Carl Zalatoris, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Anastasia Dalkas, Georgia, and Miss Sunee Parker, Baltimore. A Requim mass will be celebrated Saturday at St. Veronica Church by Rev. Francis Spillar, pastor. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. The body will be at the Spiggle Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited there Friday at 7:30 p.m.
