Notes for Elizabeth Tomas: 18 Jun 1947 Hammond Times Funeral services for Elizabeth Balazs, 68, of 4129 Carey, Indiana Harbor, who died Wednesday in her home following a long illness will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Prusiecki chapel, 3831 Main, Indiana Harbor, and at 2 o'clock in the Hungarian Reform church, Rev Szeghy will officiate and burial will be in Oakhill cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Stephen; two sons, Andrew and Stephen, Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Broves and Margaret; and six grandchildren. A resident of Indiana Harbor for the last 41 years, Mrs. Balazs was born in Hungary, Jun 15, 1859. She was a member of the Hungarian Reform federation and the Ladies' Aid of the Hungarian Reform Church.
