Mrs. Strimel was born in Pierce, W.Va., and moved here in 1974 from Chicago. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women, the Daughters of Isabella and the St. Theresa Society. She enjoyed crocheting and volunteer work at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Robert, Deltona; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Baldauff, Orange City, is in charge.
