Researching members of the Osborn and Burch families OSBORN. The earliest record is of William Osborn (born c1779) being authorised to be a gamekeeper for Samuel Scott of Sundridge Park, Bromley, Kent in England on the 11th of February 1815. I know he was married to Ann ? and had children, William - 1815, Ann Maria - 1817, Robert - 1824, Charlotte, and Harriett - 1831 William married again to another Ann between 1841 and 1848 The Osborn family mainly stayed in Bromley, with some going to Australia. I have discovered three new (to me) relatives who are also researching the Osborn line and would be pleased to exchange and share our information. I am building a database of Osborn "strays" that I find - please contact me. At the moment I am researching these children. One of them Henry (Harry) was mayor of Sandwich in the 50's and Baron of the Cinque Ports. His son Charles Burch has provided me with a lot of information on his aunts and uncles. I have writen a small book entitled "The Children of Robert Burch" which relates the story of my Great Grandfather Robert Burch, his two wives and the 21 children he raised.
