STEPHEN⁹ OSBORN (JOSHUA⁸, AMOS⁷, JOSEPH⁶, JOSEPH⁵, JEREMIAH⁴, THOMAS³, JEREMY², THOMAS¹) was born November 20, 1797 in Colebrook, Litchfield Co, Ct, and died March 18, 1884 in Bristol Twp, Trumbull Co, Oh. He married (1) MERCEY HAWKS HILLMAN July 19, 1827 in Trumbull Co, Ohio, daughter of SHUBAEL HILLMAN and LYDIA MAYHEW. He married (2) AMANDA HILLMAN July 05, 1835 in Trumbull Co, Ohio. He married (3) REBECCA December 16, 1858 in Trumbull Co, Ohio.

OBIT.... Bristol March 24, 1884:
Mr. Stephen Osborn, another of our pioneers, age 87, died last Tuesday evening, of apoplexy. Funeral conducted by Rev. T.W.Land of the Methodist Church. He leaves two sons and two daughters, all residents of this town.

STEPHEN OSBORN was born in Litchfield Co., town of Colebrook, CT 11/20/1797.
His father, Joshua, was born in CT and came to OH in 1809, and settled in
Southington Twp, Trumbull Co. He died in 1837, leaving 13 children -- Chloe,
Reuben, Mansfield, Dorcas, Sheldon, Roxy, Gilbert, Leonard, Stephen, Amanda,
Sterling, Annie, and Phoebe. Stephen, Amanda, Annie, and Phoebe are the only
surviving members of the family. Stephen Osborn marr. in 1846 to Miss Mary
Hillman, dau. of Shubal Hillman. Mrs. Osborn died in 1834. He then marr.
Miss Amada Hillman, sister of his first wife, and had 4 children by this marr.
Mrs. Osborn died in 1855. He married in 1858 his third wife, Mrs. Rebecca
Difford who died in 1870.

OSBORN, Stephen b: in Colebrook, Conn., Nov 20,1797, son of Joshua Osborn. He came to Bristol in 1830. July 19, 1797 he married Mercy H. Hillman, dau of Shubal Hillman of Bristol, and they had four children. Mercy d: Oct 15, 1834 at 25 years, and Stephen then married Amanda Hillman July 5, 1835. Amanda was the sister of his first wife, and they also had four children. Amanda d:Oct 29,1855 at 59 years. Dec 6, 1858 he m. Mrs Rebecca Difford for his third wife. A former resident of Bloomfield, she d. Jan 23,1870 at 66 years. Rebecca b. in England. Stephen d. Mar 18, 1884 at 86 years. All are bur. in Pioneer Cem. Mary Osborn, dau of Stephen and Amanda d. Sep 6, 1893. Another dau, Florilla Osborn Kagy, was the wife of John G. Kagy. She was the dau. of Stephen and Mercy Osborn.

6. AMANDA⁹ OSBORN (JOSHUA⁸, AMOS⁷, JOSEPH⁶, JOSEPH⁵, JEREMIAH⁴, THOMAS³, JEREMY², THOMAS¹) was born November 09, 1799 in Colebrook, Litchfield Co, Ct, and died May 18, 1882. She married SAMUEL HAUGHTON January 01, 1821 in Trumbull Co, Ohio, son of HENRY HAUGHTON.
