John and Elizabeth married in Cornwall (England) in 1854 then left on their honeymoon on the sailing ship "Mary Magdalene" arriving in Adelaide, South Australia in 1855, then arrived in Ballarat Victoria Australia in late 1855.

Also researching James Scarff born 1832 in Cambridge England and Sophia Searl born 1835 in Cornwall England. They were married 1858 in Maryborough Victoria Australia.
