LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF: I am a retired Nuclear Engineer having spent 38 years with the WWII Manhattan Project. I am currently a parttime teacher of high school science and a genealogy buff. This latter activity began when my mother passed to me the major family heirloom, namely a Jacob Impson Coverlet emblazoned with borders naming the town "Cortland Village" and with the date "1834" and my great great grandmother's name, Henrietta Van Hoesen woven into a corner panel. Once I discovered that Cortland Village was in western New York, my hobby took off and my pedigree has grown to over 12,000. |
