We are currently tracing all of our ancestors which encompasses the surnames Johnston, Teasdale, Upthegrove, Bonham, Overton, Davies, Blackburn, Brown, Langley, McGlashan, Rousseaux. The Rousseax family date back to Champlain's voyages and the early settlement of Quebec and Toronto. The Browns settled in Brownsville, (now Ontario)having migrated to Upper Canada subsequent to the American War of Independence in 1776. Many of the family were immigrants from England, Ireland and Germany. We would apprecaite hearing from anyone who has an interest in these surnames. |
