| Just started researching Family Tree May 2001. Looking for three family names all of which seemed to come from Scott County or Norton Virginia. The Osborne's, The Starnes, and the Kilgore's. I've found a great deal on my Kilgore & Starnes line thanks to my grandmother Starnes/Kilgore's record keeping and Family Tree Makers "Decendants of Thomas Flannary" Tree. But, I can't find anything past my GrandFather & GrandMother on the Osborne side. My grandfather's name was Robert Lee Osborne and my Grandmother's was Carrie Bell Kilgore--I don't have any dates. They owned a grocery store and homes in Norton or Coeburn Virginia my guess around 1920-1940. My Father's name was Robert Lee Osborne Jr born 1917, and he had a brother Paul and a sister Louise. Last known married name for Louise was Cross and she lived in D.C. in the 1980's. Any Help in locating information would be appreciated. Rob |
