I am researching the Waldroms from Kegworth, Leicestershire and the Hawkings families from Brean/Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas. The Waldrom research is back to 1750 with a Thomas Waldrom but I have been unable to find his parents. The Hawking research is back to the 1700 with Joseph and Joan, parents of James, born 1726 and Hannah. Other names I am researching are Forrester, who emigrated to Australia mid 1800's, Robert Roberts and his wife Mercy (Payne) emigrated to Australia in 1852, Fyfe's and Cadogan from Scotland then to New Zealand. |
