Osborn Family History

My name is Tim Osborn. I am currently trying to research the Family name. My Grandfather was Wayland G. Osborn, his father was Harvey Edward Osborn, His father was Notley Scott Osborn, His father was Robert Osborn Born in Kentucky in August of 1809, his father Was John Osborn born in Shenandaoh County, Virginia April 16, 1763. His father was Robert Osborne (note the name change) he was born in 1740 probably in virginia. It's been said that the only reason the Osborne's came to the colonies in america was because they were given land by someone of a higher authority in England. If it helps the John Osborn of 1763 was married to Sarah Stewart. Sarah Stewart's parents were John Stewart and Hannah Boone. Hannah was the sister of Daniel Boone.
