| I am searching for the family of Michel Osfar (Asfar) of Syria the son of Michel and Edna Tain of Syria. I am the grand son of his son Joseph M. Osfar (Asfar) who was born in Beirut, Lebanon on March 19th, 1889. He came to the USA some where between 1912 and 1914. I belive he met Slema Homsey in New York. She is from Trye, Lebanon and was born April 20th 1893. Her parents are Elias Homsey and Lizza Avaub. I belive our name was changed by Joseph M Osfar when he came to the USA. I do not have the records for his imagration and I am still looking for them. Any information you may have or suggestions how I can trace more information about them and other ancestors. I will also be very happy to share any information I have. |
