| I am currently embarking on the Pacheco "history train". My first wild ride started in Denver Colorado, May 1999. I interviewed several family members. And, found that my next destination pointed toward the picturesque San Luis Valley.Much information was found at the Sangre De Cristo Church in San Luis. The Genealogical Society of Hispanic America published A Baptismal and Marriage Register from January 1882 through November 1932. This document was origianlly translated by Hope Gallegos Yost. I've also obtained basic historical information from the San Luis Museum, the pamplet La Cultura Constante de San Luis, The People of El Valle by Olibama Lopez-Tushar. |
