* The James Noel Sullivan Family Home Page*

Updated December 30, 2009

Looking for information concerning Sullivan's in Essex County, Virginia during late 1700 and early 1800's. My GGGG-Grandfather, William Sullivan, was born in or near Essex County, Virginia, during the late 1700's. He married Rebecca Noel who was also born in Essex County, Virginia, sometime around the turn of the century (1800's). Their son, James Noel Sullivan, who was born around 1815 in Essex County, Viriginia, is my GGG-Grandfather. During the 1840's, James Noel moved with his two older brothers, William and Robert to Uniontown, Perry County, Alabama. James Noel then went on to Grimes County, Texas, during the 1870's. I am currently trying to link William Sullivan to his parents but have yet to find any pertinent information. If anyone out there has any information that might assist me in my search, I would greatly appreciate it!
