Searching for parents of Leon Matte b. ca. 1799 in Canada. He married Felicity Charon, widow of Moses Germaine, on 11 June 1821 at St. Peters Catholic Church, in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada. Known to have been living with daughter Teresa Blay in the 1850 Macomb County, Michigan census. Could he have been previously married and where was he born? Family is French Canadian and Catholic.

Searching for the marriage record of Mary Matilda Branchaud born 9 Jan 1862 in Redwood, New York (parents were Morris Branchaud and Catherine Juillet) and Francis James Matte (parents were Leon Matte Jr. and Louisa Brousseau). They were French Canadian Catholics and could have been married in Michigan or Ohio.

My Rivard line is descended from Mathurin Rivard dit Feuilleverte
I am searching for the marriage record of my Grandparents George Rivard and Alice Lucy Melancon around 1893 in Minnesota or Illinois? They were French Canadian Catholics.

My Melancon line starts with my grandma Lucy Alice and goes back to Charles and Marie Dugas.
