Jacob Flowers was born February 16, 1803 at Indian Branch, Darlington C, South Carolina, a n d died November 22, 1901 in Dale Co, AL (Buried at Ebenezer Cemetery).

He married (1) Frances Warr. This family is found in the 1850 and 1860 Dale County census.
He married (2) Irenia Bradshaw after 1860. They are found in the 1880 Dale County census, a l ong with Mattie J. Bradshaw, Irenia's daughter by a previous marriage. She also had a son , C olumbus Bradshaw of Geneva Co, AL. Frances Warr Flowers remarried to John Nathan Flower s i s buried in Grangeville Cemetery, Granveville, Louisiana.
