I am researching the HARKER families of the Yorkshire Dales; particularly Wharfedale and Swaledale. My mother's Harker's hail from Grassington in Wharfedale but migrated south from Swaledale in the mid-18th Century.

My OWEN ancestors came from Shrewsbury in Shropshire though originally from Leominster, Herefordshire. They are related to a DAVIES family from Clun, Shropshire and also PRICE's from Radnorshire.

My HOUGH ancestors originate in Heath Charnock north of Bolton, Lancashire; while I have REID links with Liverpool and Ireland.
